District Workshop
On Sunday 20 Nov Howard Tong attended the District ‘Design Your Club’ workshop, along with Lisa King, Bev Wells and 35 other Rotarians.
The session received an update on Work Health and Safety requirements when undertaking Club activities, as well as reminding those present of the current Insurance cover provided by the District. The main focus was reviewing a new template for a Club Constitution and Bylaws. It was recommended that all Clubs take the opportunity to review and update their current documents, using the templates provided. Finally the workshop had opportunity to discuss the proposed changes to the District Constitution. The main subject for discussion was the composition of the District Board. This group currently meets twice a year and has a Governance role.
