We have selected some incredible finalists and are thrilled to once again be hosting our Annual Goal Setters Te Ao Mārama Awards, this year, at Te Papa. Erica Standford, Minister of Education and Minister of Immigration will be speaking.

Mental Health Humanitarian Work in Challenging Times
Dr. Rita Chi-Ying Chung (鍾賜英) is a cross-cultural psychologist who obtained her PhD from Victoria University of Wellington (Te Herenga Waka). Her research focuses on cross-cultural psychology, social justice and human rights, immigrant and refugee psychosocial adjustment, racial injustice, the trafficking of Asian children, and post-disaster counseling. Dr. Chung has published extensively in the fields of cross-cultural and multicultural psychology and counseling and has over 90 publications in professional journals and books and many international awards.
Dr. Fred Bemak is a Professor Emeritus at George Mason University, USA and a Honorary International Fellow at Victoria University. He is the Executive Director and founder of Counselors Without Borders and has taken teams to provide national and global training, consultation, and counseling. He has published extensively, working with at-risk youth, group counseling, transforming school counseling, and immigrant and refugee mental health and adjustment. Dr. Bemak has won numerous awards for his work.

I have been reflecting on our club, all the things we are involved in, and all of those who work behind the scenes to keep the wheels oiled and moving so smoothly. We should be proud of what we are doing in these difficult times. Thank you everyone.
Nicole reminded us to book tickets for Goal Setters. $70 per ticket and it is at Te Papa. Pease pay into the Charitable Trust account including your name.
A new roster for Predator Free has started, (see below) and the first two weeks saw plenty of mice and one bird caught. Thank you Rick for organising this very Wellington project.
As I write this it is a glorious morning, lets hope we get more of these summer days into March.
