President Jo

Jaqui from Bellyful was such a passionate speaker.  I talked to her about whether we could come and help to cook, but understandably she only has others coming to help cook twice a year, as her volunteers are so important and dedicated.
If you want to donate, I suggest you put money into the Club account, showing Bellyful in the reference line, and we can collate and send it to them.
Organisation for our Club Changeover is almost complete.  Please do not be offended if you were down for a duty, Nicole and I have have invited District position holders to have a role.
It is not too late to register for the District Changeover being held on 28 June at Boulcott Farm.  Go to the District webpage and there is a link there.

Let’s plant trees to help our planet!
Sunday 13 July - 1pm to 3.30pm
Please join us for our annual tree planting on Sunday 4 June at 1.00pm with The Friends of Tawa's Bush Reserves for the seventh year.  Our goal is to build on what we have done in the last six years – over 4800 trees in total!
Tree planting is for everyone.  You don’t have to be super fit to join us.  There are several jobs to choose from or you could do some of each such as:  digging holes; planting trees, setting out trees for planting, picking up the tree packets for reusing, and / or contributing to the afternoon tea.  There are lots of ways to contribute and everybody is welcome to come along.

I am coordinating the Club’s participation and can be reached on 021 265 6220 or email landm.king@xtra.co.nz Please register by Friday 4 July

Port Nic rotary evening meetings once a month
From July we are going to trial having a rotary meeting one Wednesday evening a month.
  • The meetings will be held at the Wellington Club
  • They will be the 4th Wednesday in July, August and September
  • The cost will remain the same as the breakfast meetings.
  • The format will be similar to the breakfast meeting
  • A cash bar will be available
We look forward to your support and meeting your friends, family and colleagues who are interested in our Rotary meetings, but not so keen at the 7am start
Are you going away?
Please record your holidays and absences here. This is especially helpful for building the rosters.  Many thanks
