The charter event for the club is going to be a grand gathering with just on 105+ attending. This made up of 31 of the 35 registered Interactors, 24 parents, representatives from Rotaract and other clubs, Wellington College, 33 from RCPN and District Governor Elect Mitchell Brown from Takaro Rotary Club (Palmerston North) to do the honours.
Members of RCPN are asked to please assemble at the InterContinental by 5.15pm, so that we may give all our guests a warm welcome.
The Rotaractors and the Interactors have combined their baking and other skills to assemble some great raffle prizes (1 ticket for $2 and 3 tickets for $5 (more than one draw) so don’t forget your small change). This raffle is the first fund raising to put into their new bank account.
This is a great opportunity for you to mingle and greet the Interactors and especially their parents, both on arrival, and over nibbles and coffee after the official bits. Brent will no doubt be waiting to see how many parents you can persuade to become Rotarians.
The Interactors first fund raising in the field is a ‘sausage sizzle’ at Bunnings in Tory Street from 0900 to 1500h on Sunday 25 September. They need to have a Rotarian assistant with them throughout that time.
Gillian is asking for volunteers to assist them – an hour a time – please let her know by Monday 19th ( what hour you would be able to assist at their stand.
Many Thanks
