Chief Executive Dorothy Spotwood Charity Hospital
The Dorothy Spotswood Charity Hospital will care for our community with a strong and sustainable organisation rooted in the values of dignity, love, and support. We rely on the community's funding to ensure that eligible individuals receive the healthcare they deserve. Our patient catchment area matches Wellington Free Ambulance's coverage, from Cook Strait to north of the Kapiti Coast, and across to Mt Bruce in the Wairarapa.
Vito will speak about this new Charity Hospital and its role in Wellington.

It was an absolute privilege to present Brent with the pounamu the club had made for him. This is to celebrate his new role and to ensure he takes the aroha from the the Port Nic rotary club with him during his year as District Governor. See photos below.
Lifting the Lid fundraisers
It is great to see what each of the clubs are doing to raise funds for Lifting the Lid in their area. If you are in the Wairarapa during these weekends you might like to support them.
Rotary Club of South Wairarapa - Supporting Lifting the Lid
Rotary will run sausage sizzle stalls at the Greytown Mid-Winter Festival on opening night, 27 June, and closing night, 25 July, from 3 to 8pm. If any Rotarians from your clubs are nearby, we would love them to stop by and say hello.
We will also run a cake stall with Kuranui College at the Cobblestone Victorian Christmas Market on 18 July, from 10am to 3pm, with all proceeds supporting Lifting the Lid. We hope this will raise awareness of the programme and strengthen our work with the College.

Club activities this week
On Sunday nine of us enjoyed the new walkway from Nga Uranga to Pitone, followed by lunch at Gear Street Union. A beautiful day for it and lots of families enjoying it too.
This week Apara recommenced the Port Nic Book Club. Many thanks Aparna, it is great to have this up and running again.
