Despite the wet weekend dampening the spirits there is a lot to celebrate and look forward to.
I am very much looking forward to the Interact Charter celebrations tomorrow at the Intercontinental. I understand that we have over 100 people coming, with 35 members from the club as well members from the new Interact club and their parents and friends. We also have great representation from Rotaract. What a great opportunity to show case our club to potential members.
It was great to be able to announce last week, that John Bishop is President Elect for 2016/17. John will be a great addition to the Board this year and will make a wonderful President.
It was also a great pleasure to welcome Victoria Triegaardt as a new member at the breakfast meeting and I know she will bring a lot to the Youth Committee.
I caught up with Cheryl Kortink last week, who I am very pleased to report is starting to feel a lot better and expressed a desire to rejoin the club at some point in the future.
I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday morning.
My 'well organised management system' is not functioning :-/. If you have offered to assist with the Hospital Collection or the Blood Pressure, can you please email me for the times that you are available (unless I've spoken with you since Wed 21st)
