Speaker for this week:

Katy Sweetman and John Bessey

Founder/Director StoryCore Ltd and Authors

Since Storycore’s inception in 2019, Katy has worked with local and global organisations to help them find and get to the heart of their stories and to share them in numerous ways and formats for many different purposes and with a variety of audiences. The topic is , “Rituals of Impact” and the subject is “how committing to the things that matter most can transform your life.”

President Nicole

It was wonderful to present Ross Buxton and Tony Herring with their Paul Harris Fellows, for the all the work them have done supporting the club and the wider community. Part of the protocol is that they don't know they are receiving their awards, so a huge thank you to both Joanna Buxton and Hilary Herring who managed to convince Ross and Tony they wanted to attend their first rotary meeting so they could be their to share the surprise celebrations of their husbands' achievements.

We are very privileged to be able to have our meetings at the Wellington Club who provide a wonderful environment, service and a unique breakfast every week. Last Wednesday we had 46 members and guests as our club goes from strength to strength. We need to make some changes to registering for the breakfast so we can continue to have our meetings at the Wellington Club. Please see below.

Important notice:

Changes to registering for breakfast at our meetings

From this week you will need to register yourself and any guests for breakfast no later than 6pm Sunday with details of any dietary requirements, so that we can advise attendance information to the Wellington Club.

Please note - if you register after the cut off 6pm or just turn up - there will not be a breakfast available. You are able to have tea and coffee.

Thank you for your understanding.

Rotary and our partners commemorate World Immunization Week, 24-30 April every year, to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination and highlight the success of our polio eradication efforts.

World Immunization Week is quickly approaching! How would you like our club to observe this important public health event?

The future looks good
