This month is Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Month
 
 
New Zealand is under the Covid19 Red Traffic Light Setting.
Within this setting we can still meet as a club in person.
If you have cold or flu symptoms,  please stay at home.
You can join us via Zoom if you aren't comfortable leaving the house.
 
Please continue to wear your face masks, unless you are sitting at your table.

                  Alison Cadman     Dwell Community Housing

Dwell Housing Trust provides affordable, quality housing for people in need or on a low income. They believe that affordable, stable and healthy housing is a fundamental right, and that appropriate housing has long-lasting benefits for the people living within those households and the wider community. Alison is Dwell's chief executive and is responsible for its day-to-day management and the implementation of Dwell’s business and strategic plans.

We need two volunteers for this Sunday 20 February: one for the middle shift and one for the late shift.

The roster for 6 March is full. We need one volunteer for the late shift on 20 March.

Member Profile: Mark Pickering
 

I have been a Rotarian for 25 years, serving on a wide range of committees, with a particular interest in Community and International Service. Following a long career in Banking, Investment Management and Insurance, I have switched to a work / life balance job driving trains. I am also a Marriage Celebrant. I live with my partner Kathy in Petone and, for recreation, enjoy Highland dancing, tramping and touring on our Harley Davidson.

Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG)
 

The first ESRAG Oceania meeting for 2022 will be a zoom on Tuesday 15 February at 7.25pm AEDT. The Guest Speaker is Dr Zoe Squires, who works in the Science Impact and Collaboration Team at the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research, Environment and Climate Change. Zoe will speak about Biodiversity, one of ESRAG's focus areas; and how we can all make a difference in this area. To take part,
