DESCRIPTION:BAYLAND BREWERY AND TAPROOM 22 Victoria Street Petone Here's a 
 brewery that we haven't tried before\, so I thought I'd give you a bit of 
 its history. Baylands was started back in 2012 as a small brewery based on
  Baylands Drive in Newlands\, Wellington.  The brewery was in a double g
 arage under the house with a 300L system but quickly outgrew that space an
 d moved to Petone in 2014 with a 1200L brewery. The first Baylands beer wa
 s launched at Goldings Free Dive\, a popular freehouse dive bar in Wellin
 gton in May 2013 and it's been full steam ahead since then. We now have a 
 2500L brewery in the heart of vibrant Petone with a large tasting room wi
 th 30+ taps of beer\, wine\, spirits and great bbq style burger & taco men
 u. To get there: Take the train from Wellington Station to Petone Station 
 - dont forget to use your Gold card for a free ride  Cross the road and w
 alk up Jackson Street to Victoria Street. Turn right and Baylands Brewery 
 is just down the road after you cross Union Street.  It's a 9 minute fla
 t walk  Lets meet there at 12 o'clock for a long leisurely Friday lunch.

 to the owners.  If you find at the last minute that you can join us\, ple
