  2025 9.30 start Yes the Perambulators are getting out and about again! Th
 is time we are going to head up Colonial Knob\, meeting at the carpark nex
 t to Camp Elsdon at 9.30am on Sunday 1 June for a hike right up to the top
  - if the weather permits\, and then back down through the forest. After o
 ur hike we will dirve to Kai Tahi - a new eating and retail space in Porir
 ua where you can choose from a variety of foods and the sit together and e
 at. If we felt like it we could have a beer at Abandoned Brewery - which i
 s right next door and they also have a food cart outside which we could us
 e for lunch - we will make the decision on the day :) There is plenty of p
 arking in the car park by camp Elsdon or on the road beside it. You will n
 eed hiking boots and for those who have them\, poles. Bring a drink of wat
 er\, a snack and jackets as it can be windy at the top and the weather can
  change. The views are spectacular. great for those who like to take photo
 s. Please respond by Friday 30 May so I know how many to expect. Friends a
