 onomic and Public Policy Research  Livvy holds a PhD in Economics\, specia
 lising in applied micro-econometrics. Her doctoral thesis explores the hea
 lth and economic consequences of youth suicide and youth victimisation for
  surviving family members. Across four papers\, she shows that these event
 s have significant and long-lasting impacts for those exposed to them\, wi
 th effects extending beyond the immediate losses faced by the youth themse
 lves. She is building on this work as a Researcher at the ROCKWOOL Foundat
 ion (Copenhagen)\, while continuing to be based in Wellington (NZ) as an A
 ffiliate with the Motu Research whānau. Livvy's topic is\, "Ripple effect
