 g Part 2 - Sunday 14 August 1pm A small group of us planted 250 native tre
 es in Tawa during the first half of our mission to plant 500 native trees 
 this year with the Friends of Tawa Bush Reserves.  It’s now time for th
 e second half of this important work – to plant the other 250 trees in T
 awa on  Sunday 14 August at 1pm. Our goal is to keep building on what we
  have done in the four previous years planting native trees in Tawa.  Thi
 s is helping to regenerate our native Bush to provide habitat and food for
  the increasing numbers of native birds\, to make lovely walking areas for
  us all\, and to help slow down climate change.  Everyone is very welcome
  including family and friends – the more the merrier!  Interact and Rot
 aract members are very welcome to join us!  We had a huge turnout from In
 teract last year and again in June this year.  We’ve now planted about 
 2200 trees.     If you would like to take part\, please contact Lisa Ki
 ng (landm.king@xtra.co.nz or 021 265 6220).  Lisa is Director of our Com
 munity Services Committee and also a member of Friends of Tawa Bush Reserv
 es so she is coordinating our Club’s participation.    Let Lisa know y
 our mobile phone number and email address so she can send you full details
  about the tree planting and so she can contact you if we need to defer th
 e tree planting for any reason.   Thank you for helping us with this imp
