 alks. Great for getting rid of the fog after your festive season celebrati
 ons. https://www.wellingtonnz.com/visit/trails/orongorongo-track Meet  at
  the carpark at the end of Catchpool Valley Road near the toilets at 10am.
  The walk will be about 1.5 to 2 hours each way. Bring a picnic to share\,
  camping stools and a thermos of hot or cold refreshments. The carpark is 
 located 12km south of Wainuiomata. To get there\, follow Coast Road for 10
 km to the entrance of Remutaka Forest Park\, then follow Catchpool Valley 
 Road for 2km to the car park and information area. This is not a difficult
  walk but good shoes are recommended.  You might also want to bring your 
 poles. Please RSVP by Wednesday 31 December 2025 so we know who to expect.
   There is no cell phone coverage so you will not be able to contact me o
 nce I am there.
